Cant wait to see the finished product. Whats the tape on the back seat for? This some sort of soundproofing?

Whats your initial opinion on those amps? Are they the ones that will give 2x75w rms? I was thinking of getting one to power my components. Whats this about putting neon in the amp? Can you do that?? >_<

It looks similar to my 75.4 but im not sure what that one is... bloody good amp if it's the same.

the JBL amps have two slots for cathodes so you can light it up on the inside, you still have to wire them to an external 12v source though, the amp doesnt power them.

ooo very swish. The logo is apparantly luminated aswell, maybe the cathodes can be patched into that supply somehow?

Please correct me if im wrong insamoufonyx but i believe that the tape is there to protect the back bench whilst the MDF frame is fitted and the fibreglass is applied, would i be right in saying this?

you've got it right southy.. it helps to stop the fibreglass from sticking to the rear bench... but if im honest i'd be putting some kitchen foil down.
When i did my boot install i used just tape and the resin seaps through the tape.

looking good so far :)
