my mini had to go on a jig it cost me 1500 pounds gutted i bought the car off e bay the front wheels were rubbing took the car to a mini garage and they said the car must have hit a kerb hard so it had to go on .

Yeah, garages can sometimes take the *yellow human water* with prices when it has to go on a jig, even if it's just needing a quick pull.

Thats a LOT of money to have a mini Jigged !!

the engine had to come out thats what they said so all the money was on labour.

I got told that by one of the Garage's as well,i found a place(well 2)that was happy for me to leave the Engine and damaged subframe in, i was asked to return the mini back once i'd fitted
the new front subframe,just to double check all was spot on.

i phoned a few people and they said the same thing so in the end i had to pay gutted but its fixed now when i picked the ar up he had trouble with the water temp he then told me that the head gasket had gone so he gave me the gasked a bit cheaper than normal nice of him when you think i just handed over 1500 pounds cash so when i got home me and a mate did the head gasket,what a month,its back in the garage now getting the rust off the normal places plus i bought a new boot so thats getting re sprayed well thats it 4 now.
