make you get the right one, is your a remote servo, (as fitted to earlyGTs and cooper s) the mk3 repair kit refers to the mk3 servo not mini model, the remote one is a "mk1", if that makes any sense.., minispares will sort it out for you anyway

what he means I think Nick is that yours is a remote servo, IE the standard master cylinder with the servo completely remote from it.

Tony has the integrated servo, with the pedal going straight into the servo, and the master cylinder built into it.

Hope that helps!!

Tom

ps - sorry about your car dude, i've have texted more today but was at work

"he" means that exactly, remote refers to servo not gear linkage

Sorry gonna throw a spanner into the works..

The servio which came with the MK1 & 2 mini is different to those used on the MK3 mini and clubmans.

Then Austin Rover introduced the servo on the the split brake system, which is what Joe is referring to as the MK3 servo.. ( which technically it is ) and where the confusin lies..

This is the servo you have..

And as with minisports, the partnumber on minispares for a rebuild kit does not show now.. but the minimania site in the use detail the kit show above as the repair kit for the remote servo.
