I can't keep it to myself anymore, I'm getting another Mini!!
Realised that once Winston (my clubby) was done, and I had either a Polo or a Mini to drive regularly, then despite all his mods and relative impractical-ness, I would choose the Mini hands down, wearing it out faster, and risking damage and things more.
So I thought I'd get another Mini. It just so happens a friend has one for sale, its gorgeous! Its a 1990 Quicksilver Cooper. Apparently one of only 13 known to exist in this colour (not sure if thats true or not!). Its had a full restoration and re-spray 3 years ago, and I've done a bit of work to the mechanicals over the last year, so I know the car pretty well. Its fitted with a 1275 MG Metro engine, so it goes pretty well, and has various other bits and bobs, like a full width brushed ally dash with three auxillary gauges (including cap. oil press gauge which I like!), Cooper interior etc!
