ok i have noticed that when i uncover my mini from its outdoor cover, yes its waster proof that in the drivers side foot well theres some liquid. i'm assuming its water :P and around the area where the steering colunm meets the body work is all very damp.....

now i didn't have my jack to lift the car up today but seeing as the car is under a water proof cover i cant image it being water????

any takers

It could well be water caused by condensation.

it could be a split heater pipe or damaged heater matrix
