Elemental Designs are comparatively new in the ICE world, but are fairly highly regarded.

Not the best that money can buy by any means, but they aren't at all bad either - and they are one of the few firms who make 6" and 8" subs

Just ordered mine. Although I havn't yet got an amp to run them through, I'll hook them up to the headunit and see whats what!

picked up my elemental subs the other day from city link depot because i wanst in to collect,, took a while to come due to awaiting a shipment from the US. that said they look very good for the price (£40) havent hooked them up to anything yet though so cannot comment on the quality.

Having to wait till the 11th of feb before mine come in. I ordered the 4 ohm voice coils though, I'm assuming yours are 2ohm.
Got the perfect amp to power them though, a mono block class D alpine, 2ohm stable at 400w rms Got it for a bargain price to, but I wont divulge how lol

iv just had the subs connected up 2 my stereo amp in my room and well,,,,, WOW!!! the excursion on these lil beasts is amazing, didnt have them boxed but im pretty sure they will perform well. its lookin good for a suitable 6inch sub for the mini and at a very good price..

Funny thing to stumble upon this here aswell as at my Honda-forum
Anyway, the users who had used was quite satisfied with the result. (edit: just noticed you said PAINT, and that I dont know about, just their adhesives sheets)

I was going to buy this for my civic and if those speakers are good I might pick up a couple of those aswell for my mini.
