oil evry were???

Mi cars in my garage at moment y i am wrking on it and ther is a lot of oil directly beneath the sump what could be the course of this ,and wen i check the dipstick there is no change in oil level its realy puzziling me lol

It normaly comes out of the hole where the gear stick rods go into the gear box

how much? a pudle or what? like bungle says minis are notorius for leakign oil at teh gear lincage but check the sump plugs tight!

well what do you want it's an classic english car. If they stop leaking you better check your oil level because you are probably out of oil. I wouldn't worry too much about it, unless it is a real puddle.

its quite a puddle but it has been der for at least 2 months so in comparison its not that much ,is the gear linkage connection at rear of engine and what can i do about it if that is the cause cheers

There is a kit available that is supposed to be better than the original, its pretty cheap and easy to fit. Have a look on the net for them. I presume minisport will do them.

iv just fitted mine from minispared, was about a fiver. U need to push the linkage pin out using a punch and disconect the linkage. then try to prie outthe old seals! i did it with tbhe engine out though and took the diff houseing off, it was much easier

Also check the diff output shaft oil seals, mine's pouring out of there at the moment.
