Best place to jack the rear

Do you need the whole rear up or just one side, personally I would of thought a jack with a plank of wood on top under the rear seats would be best?!

I cant get a plank of wood and a jack under the floor together, the car is too low. And the beam isn't wide enough to safely place a jack on.

what do you want to do? can you not put it on ramps? of if you want to take wheel off, use the origional jack and jacking point at the front under the door. how did you fit the beam if you couldnt jack it up?

I have one more idea, can you get the jack and a peice of wood under the boot?! (or is the beam in the way?!) If you can jack it up, then put axle stands with another plank of wood under the rear seats?

Hehe for this job I can borrow ramps as the wheels dont need to come off. Would be handy for future ref tho
