Hey guys i am going to fit a fibre glass front and was thinking that as i am using the miglia arches it would probably be best if i dont have a flip front as there really isnt much need and wouldnt the arches have to be cut just at the a pannel where the flip front moves?.What do you all think?

Has anyone got any hints for fitting a non flip front or pics etc?

Many Thanks

Phil

I think it would look nicer without, and you have no real need to have a flip front anymore.

Totally agree with you on that one!Ok so to the next question has any one got any pics or info on fitting the NON FLIP front as i have seen a few posts on how to fit a flip front which are really good! but not a non flip front.

I have seen a few bits and bobs such as bonnet pins to secure the bonnet down but what about the actual front?

Cheers

Phil

Hi,

I have bought a carbon flip front and i will be using the usual fasteners from the a panel but i am also gonna bolt it to the inner panels. I am using the composite arches that z cars can supply. They aren't the best to look at off the car but i think they look ok fitted and they have plenty of clearance for the extra wheel travel. Anyway my advice is fit a steel front. I've paid a lot of money for this carbon flip front so i'm gonna fit it now but in truth i think they are C**p. They look unfinished and there isn't any really big weight saving over the steel one. I wish i hadn't bothered but never mind. As you can see i'm impressed with it!

Thanks

Tom

I have used fibre glass products oin the past and i do no what you mean about fibre glass i am in two minds weather or not to use it what are peoples opinions on this. A few people i have spoke to have commented on this?

STEEL VS FIBRE GLASS?

Is there really that much weight loss in ditching the front end?

Cheers

Phil
