I need to replace the NGK BPR6EV spark plugs that were supplied/fitted by JCG as part of the S-works conversion on my MPi.

I've had a search on the net, but not been able to find them. >_<

Halfords have got some NGK BPR6E (no V) plugs and I was told the V at the end just meant that they a V groove....I suspect this is not quite right, but I am prepared to accept the 12 year old shop assistants advice if some of the wiser members on here concur....

Is this right ? If not, does anyone know where I can get some from...

Cheers...

Thanks for the swift reply and very helpful spreadsheet...

It looks like the shop assistant was almost correct.....but that's like saying you're nearly pregnant !!!

Can impose on you guys again and ask for the best place to order these.....the usual Mini stockists don't seem to list them.... ;)

Cheers...

any decent motor factors, i dont know what sort of places you have near you, but in West Sussex there is Camberley Auto Factors, and CPA, not forgetting Horsham Brake Services, who are incidentally in Horsham, and probably the best out of them all, the customer service is top notch (i did work there for a couple of years, but i needed to move on, although i use them for pretty much everything). If you want, their phone number is 01403 254457, if you speak to Wayne, and say that you know Charlie he might give you discount. They also do nitrous oxide and refills as well if you got it.

that sounded like i was bribed to say that? they are very good though.

Thanks for the tip-off.

I'm in Kent, but I'll try a couple of the local motor factors around here. Just surprised that they weren't available from some of the usual mini places......I'll give your people a ring if I get stuck...CHEERS !!!!
