oh yeah, the reason for me and flappy not thinking that they were standard was because a friend of our`s 998mini has dished pistons, completely standard... in theory flat top pistons means a higher compression, aka more power, i assumed they were an upgrade of a previous owner

im finding it hard my self and im near on 22 lol

its not cheap by all means! i go though at least £20 a week petrol to and from college, halfords pays for it though!

hi my name is barry M34 married with 3 brats m6 m4 f3 and a wonderfull WILF terri who some of you will meet at mw45 in april. i am rebuilding a 1982 mini 1000 HL in bright red with a canadian flag on the bonnet and a welsh flag on the roof, still looking for a drivers door to finish job. resprayed everything myself and enjoyed doing it, though it will need to be done again. it was my first attempt after all :wales: :wales:
