I'm only in the 1st year of my course but so far we have learned basic mehanics and basic race car set up. we do other stuff like design and stuff but as the course goes on we do tuning, shed loads of set up etc.
I'm a student so I got a budget of a few hundrend quid to get myself a little 998cc. but trust me I have big plans!!!!!!!!

sounds good.
yeah a 998 at 30 BHP to start with then eventually you can get the output of 80BHP with some tuning.
good luck finding a mini

I'm at the University of Hertfordshire.
My course is pretty easy to get on only needed like 200 UCAS points to get on which is like a B and 2 C's at A Levels!
Nah student life's lush I took a year out befor I went spent half of it working at TESCO (What was I thin king I don't know!)! Then I did six months work experience at Volkswagen Racing! After all the tesco shifts starting at 8am and haing to work saturdays, I'm happy with doing sweet F.A.!
80bhp outta a 998cc? Quality! how????????????
Cheers,
Jamie

Yea, I think someone said that Bill Sollis (maybe?!) got about that out of a 850?! I would be interested to know how he did that since I have a 850 engine on my drive!! Although I'm guessing it would need the same care and attention as a 1425 pushing out 130bhp?!
