True, but what if you would like to know the loss in your drivetrain. As in what if use a straight cut gearbox versus a helical as discussed in another thread. I would sure like to know what kind of loss I have, so I might be able to reduce it.Why do they bother to measure or calculate bhp at the flywheel anyway?! It seems stupid to me to ignore the 'box and wheels?! I mean its not like your ever going to run the engine without the 'box or wheels?
