That thread was the one where TMF Members chose to abolish the Packs and was where people were checking to get updates on the status.
If you log onto TMF forums and look at the sections available the one at the top is the TMF+ section which has the following announcement
"TMF+ HAS NOW BEEN REOPENED! MEMBERSHIP IS NOW £5 UNTIL WE GET A NEW SYSTEM IN PLACE FOR MEMEBRSHIP PACKS
SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THIS MIGHT HAVE CAUSED."

Not sure how much more we can do to let people know it is live again! Each time someone opened another post asking if it was live we confirmed it was.

Also, All the confirmed discounts were put in that thread so people coudl make a decision about the packs. A list of confirmed discounts is available in the TMF+ section and is available to TMF+ members.
Sorry if you have been put off by it but TMF+ is optional, you get discounts for helping keep TMF Running as a thankyou but you can still use all otger sections without subscribing.
At the end of the day, it's your call

Sorry to be a pain in the backside, but whats happening about getting a new system in place for membership packs??

Personally, i'd really like a TMF rear window sticker and some spotted cards to advertise the forum etc etc

Agree with the above, if there is a way TMF could get bulk stickers ( find out how many people want one ) then I dont think they would cost too much.

Personally I would like to have a TMF sticker and for other members to as well because it makes us even more exclusive and unique from other drivers ( including mini )

I think its great because you can put a face to a name at shows and if you spot a mini somewhere. It would be absolutely brilliant to have your TMF username incorporated into it too. Maybe get roofless on the case too as part of the sign on fee. I would happily pay a bit more for this.

Membership packs will not be reintroduced but if you need a membership card pm me and I'll create an electronic one for you. As for the stickers, i have been in communication with a number of suppliers and am currently awaiting costs and samples from each of them before we take it further. The companies approached have recently been going thorugh a very large growth in their field so have been working to capacity but I hope to have a solution to the Stickers soon sorry for the delay

What is TMF+?
TMF+ was devised after many members expressed an interest in helping with the upkeep of the forum by way of donations. We were really touched by the offers, but we wanted to be able to offer some way of thanks for each donation given, so TMF+ was born. The idea behind it is that for just £5.00 a year, you gain discounts with the best companies in the Mini scene, basically at least one company to help with every aspect of owning a Mini; from repairing and maintaining it, to modifying, to getting it featured in a magazine to insuring it. We really do think that we've come up with something quite special.

Is there a step by step guide to subscribing to TMF+?
Please click here.

What happens once I've paid for the subscription?
You'll automatically be placed in the TMF+ usergroup. This will give you access to the TMF+ section which details which discounts your entitled to, and how to get them. You'll also automatically receive your increased upload space and increased PM storage space. Once the transaction has gone through you'll be assigned a TMF+ subscription number. Once you have access to the TMF+ area you can start using your discounts almost immediately. For your Membership number please PM Minimadjonesy and he will provide it to you when he does the admin for TMF+ on the next friday. Should you require a TMF+ subscription card to confirm your membership with any companies then again PM Minimadjonesy and one will be provided electronically.

Can I still get the 5% discount with Minispares?

- If you've already the 5% discount setup on your Minispares account then you will still be able to use that. However, no more 5% discounts will be added to accounts. From now on you will have to subscribe to TMF+ in order to gain a discount with Minispares.

What if I don't want to subscribe, will anything on the forum change?
No, no existing sections will be disappearing into the TMF+ section, nor will there be an exclusive chat section you can't get to if you don't wish to subscribe to TMF+.

I don't want to pay for the admin to go to the Bahamas, where does my £5.00 go?

- All of the money will be piled back into TMF. Whether it goes to paying for the server and hosting costs, organising the printing of stickers and leaflets, general administration costs or paying for future events, you can rest assured that the money will be put towards the betterment of the forum.

Does my TMF+ subscription last forever?

- No, one subscription lasts for 12 months.

Can I cancel my subscription before the 12 months is up?

- You certainly can, however the £5.00 paid for the subscription is non-refundable.

I own a company producing top quality Mini products. How do I become part of the scheme?

- At the moment we approach any companies we'd like to involve with TMF+. If you would like to express your interest in becoming affliated with TMF+ please send a PM to Minimadjonesy (Alan)

Please add below any additional questions you have. As time goes by the relevant questions will be incorporated into this FAQ.

I paid my £5 through Paypal but I have not been upgraded, I have also sent 2 email to members in the admin team pointing this out but received no reply or help. can you please advise me further on this please.

Is there any issues with the TMF+ subscription at the moment or am I being dim? I've tried renewing but it keeps telling me to select a package with a radio button. Can't see any radio buttons on my page.

Trying to get a TMF+ membership but the link to the step by step guide is bad and gives me a board message saying I don't have permission to view it? Away to place a sizeable order with MiniSpares but would benefit from the TMF+ membership!

Sorry, that guide was removed when the new system kicked in as it's no longer relevant.

To purchase your TMF+ subscription just click the Subscriptions tab underneath the TMF logo and follow through the purchase process :proud:

Hi there - it says £10 on your front page, but £5 when I select the subscription page. I'm buying a few hundred pounds worth of Minispares stuff and want to ensureI get the discount code sorted before I place my order.
Can you clarify ?
Thanks
