Fitted a full set of hi-lo`s and pro tech shockers and it is squeaking from the o/s rear as i drive over my cobbled drive.
The car has done 11.000 miles,I fitted new knuckles all round and noticed the shocker had to be pushed hard to get the top mount through the arch hole so iI fitted another knuckle and It was easier this time but not quite right and it is still squeaking.
The Radius arm on this side was very stiff probably with lack of use so i greased and freed it.
Any ideas anyone?
much appreciated.

Did you replace the plastic cup that the knuckle goes into? If they wear through they can squeak.

it could be the rubber 'shield' on the damper

when the damper compresses / relaxes the rubber moves and catches the inner arch.....

std dampers are thinner material- i think metal there and so dont catch...

Hi,been away from here a while, thanks for that.
Your probably right as the rubber shield is very close ,but only makes the noise on o/s side.
Trouble is what to do to fix as i cant see a way to gain clearance?
