B) the phonix people
its a tradegy, all our minis where built there, from the very first mini to the very last, its a crying shame the goverment should have done much more to help its going to have a big effect on the econemy to!

The Pheonix management consortium, has sapped £40m out of the company into their own pockets.
Not that I have too many good words to say about BMW, but atlease after they bought rover in 94' they saw the value of the Mini, kept production running and completed the investment in the new mini, and I must admit kept the wheat, and discarded the chaff in the threshing process ( aka MG Rover )
IMO.

You can't say you support MG Rover now when you've been buying from elsewhere, no matter how cruddy the cars were, I remember the Buy British campaign...!

dave youve taken the words out or my mouth! its ll teh cheep scates buying peugotes and other crud french cars, and importign cars to as there cheap scates. i think it is very bad, we have 2 classics in the family now, silber and dads ZR!Hang on, we can't purely blame others, What about everyone who's been buying Peugeots, Citroens, VW's, etc, etc.

everyones saddend by the rover closure including several thousand who lost their jobs, its difficult to blame people as rover over the last few years had lost their appeal.
