ado clever people, we went out to my freinds house on satday lunchtime and some some reason the wheels where whacking of the front arches, theve never done it before, i did have my geetar in there wich is heavy but im not sure what it is, think its the rubber thingis. what should i do? and what do i need to order?

its 1989 998, its th efront wheels that do it, i think the hocks could do with replacing to

If its the front of the wheels touching the arches its sounds like a tie rod has bent, if the arches are riding on top of the wheels then it sounds like either the cones or the suspension might be up the creek.

Do you mean an actual engine mount or do you mean the stabilizer? The bushes you showed are for the stabilizer, the others are the rubber blocks at the bottom of the engine that bolt directly to the subframe.

its the stabiliser that needs doing
when you say the sus is 'up the creek' what do you mean? they guy who did the MOT said there fine, and why would the rod be bent?

I dunno why the rod would be bent (it might of hit something), but if the front of the wheels are rubbing on the arch, and they never used to, its usually a bent tie-rod that does it. And if the archs are rubbing on top of the wheel then theres several different causes. Which stabaliser are you talking about?!

the one that goes into the left hand side of teh block as you look at the engine with the bonnet open
