My mini started off as a 1972 morris mini clubman, mallard green, absolutely knackerd it was, when i bought it in 1999. i reshelled it using the shell of a 1992 british open classic into what it is today. have posted a pic but not sure if it will show on here.
spec so far:-
metallic BRG paint (poorly done)
6 point fia rollcage cage
genuine 1960s low back buckets in black, contrasting red interior
removable steel front end
mk1 grill
5x10" minilights
minspares alloy 4 pot calipers in cooper s discs
lowered sus (gaz shocks)
neg camber arms
elec webasto fabric sunroof
walnut dash
standard non cooper 1275 with 1.5:1 rockers, ss exhaust manifold, single box RC40, hif44, kn pancake producing about 68bhp at the fly.
next jobs - full respray in non metallic BRG, remove wheelarches, megasquirt with uprated head and cam (mmmm..)
i'm currently living in northfield, bham but will be moving to warwick shortly so would like to meet up with members in the area. i'm sometimes at the classic car meet at the great oak hockley heath.
