Yes I can do. I did get your message but been really busy. I have a set in the garage, the bit the seat runner fastens to is slightly longer pushing the seat further back. I was going to use them on mine but again not had time. I can get some more done if anybodys wants some. Going to a few shows soon so can take with me.

Amy, Toad is a real inspiration! Seeing that made me really look at different ways of doing things with my car. Nothing like as good as toad though! (I lack the sewing skills :) )

Anyway, heres my van:

I'd imagine some seals to prevent water leaking in through the gaps.

Can anyone post some images of more "stock" mini's? Or even just link me to external sites via messages so this thread doesn't get jacked with stock interior shots?

No offense on the creative custom work you are all doing, but I am looking for some reference for the stock look for both front and back seat. I am building a car 79 back from boxes, and need some visual reference so I can inventory additional items I am going to need (like heater box, and rear glove box trim, or so I think it is called on the back seat pockets).

Also, there was someone that posted a picture with new seat covers that were black with red piping, if someone can link to a shop that sells those, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

You could check out Moss's online catalogue http://www.moss-euro...lassicMini.aspx

or keep an eye out for runs / meets in your area. There's very little in the back of a Mini.

Amazing!!!

I am doing a bareshell rebuild of my estate - bodywork is done, blasted and it is now at the paintshop. I have lost (don't ask) the rear seat though, and have made the mistake (financially) of visiting a local trim restorer and am now looking at getting a completely bespoke interior made! He can reuse the front seats, but I could really do with some photos and measurements of the rear seat (base and back) so that he can make it from scratch - Can anyone help?

The car is Teal Blue and I am undecided on the interior colour - I don't want to go back to the old green - I am looking at getting the seats done in the early style with vertical flutes on the back (all the way across, with slightly wider edges), they will stop short of the front edge of the base similar to the pic attached. The door cards will be similar, thick flat section along the bottom, with horizontal straight flutes for the rest.

Colours? - I have been thinking about red (a gentle red, not as bold as the pic) and cream (flutes), but have also been thinking about an eggshell - what colour is Toad's paint? What do you guys think - would red be too much of a contrast?... He's making the carpet also, but want a harder wearing, 'useable' boot area. I LOVE the wood, but was thinking about a tougher carpet.
