Well im fairly new to this, so here goes.
My names richard, im 21, and ive loved minis for years. 3 years ago i got my first running mini, a '96 Silver Bullet imported from Germany. not that i new this at first though! when i got it i was over the moon, i mean i was 18 and my car has leather seats, big alloys, fast engine, and generally full on phatness!!!!
sadly a couple of months later the big end bearings went in the engine, thus i purchesed a 1293cc engine. unknown to me the engine had stage 2 head, which was still ok to be used again.
the next big show after i finally got it back was the L2B 2003, this is when i found out that my car was rare. BUT i still dont know much about it, so any info would be great.
then a month after L2B (the day before my 20th) i had a little crash.
9 panels later and its nearly ready. while its been off the road ive got 1.5 roller rockers, a playmini exhaust and a new sound system and neons inside and out. i am really looking forward to getting it back, i just need the engine running and the front re-sprayed.
