hello all!

the time has come for me to build my 1098 engine. as i dont really know much about modding engines i was wondering what the best mods would be for a fast practical road car, my insurance will allow me up to 80hp i was thinking more 50-60.

the ideas i had was to put a 1275 head and twin carbs on, or would a weber be better?? also what should i do in terms of cams and rockers etc??

thanks!

Ed

I suggest reading David Vizard books.

That and a centre strap.

Kent 276/286 or a morspeed phase3 cam.
1275 head on pocketed block
centre mains strap
single hi44 carb should be fine.

The main place you want to sped your money is on the head, its where your going to make most of your power.
