i have 13*7s with sportspack arches, they were scraping of the arches so i was advised to get adjustable tie bars, put it in to one side to see if it works, adjusted it back a bit, but it either scrapes of the back of the arch or the front of the arch, theres no happy in between, i have only tried one side and i have now given up, any advice, have i done something wrong? any advice or ideas are very much appreciated thanks!!

That sounds like a silly suggestion to me!
You need to cut the inner wheel arches to accomodate for wide wheels.
Messing with the length of the tie bars will just mess the steering geometry up.

As above you should be trimming the arches. Not the inner arches, that would be major bodywork but just the wings. You should also be using a reduced lock steering rack. As Ouster says all you are doing at the moment is destroying you castor angle. You should get your suspension properly set up when you have adjustable tie-rods fitted.
