Thinking making an mdf dash, putting in my inifinty components, and then two subs on the back seat???

or i might not because of weight, so might just stick to comps now! :)

or just a nice pair of 6x9's like i had and put then in your parsal shelf, then because of the small boot, they will pound out, u dont need a lot of ice in a mini to make it sound good! :)

Under the back seat is as good a place as I have found for a set of 6x9s. I made a panel to enclose the area. This way I don't have to cut any holes in my car. You can sort of see it in this picture:

I made that panel in less than an hour. I cut it out of some light plywood and covered it with black cloth (using spray adhesive). Nothing to it. I think the whole thing cost maybe $5.

i'm gonna have to make custom door pods! i have components and they r defo the best kind of speakers to own, but i may be tempted by the idea of 6'9's under the seat

Under the seat was the only place I could think of since I refuse to cut holes in things. I thought that they might be a bit muffled under there, but they really do produce pretty good sound.

door pod construction is a great idea it will help stageing and imaging..
try and angle them towards the driver/passanger....make templates out of cardboard first before fibreglassing/and fillering! :)
