You wouldnt have a word made in chrome as such. If you cut the word out of mild steel, hacksaw and file it would be my method. Once youv got what you want in mild steel take it to a chromers and get it chromed.
Id probably just make it out of stainless or ally, but thats me.
Hope this has been of some help.

reez, why does the fact you are a girl mean you cant do it yourself?
Dont think you cant do it, just try, if it doesnt work out , it doesnt work out.
I know plenty of guys that couldnt do that job, its not a sex thing, just depends if you can do it or not, you might suprise yourself and it could be very satisfying.

You could try your local college, if they have a CAD engineering department, they could design and make it for you.

hey reez if you really don't want to go to all the trouble of chroming or getting it made of stainless you could just get a vinyl made of tyhe words you want...you can get vinyls in any color you want even chrome silver. just a thought though.

thats what i was goint to suggest, you'll be able to get a chrome sticker made at your local signs firm, and i'd have thought it shouldn't be too expensive either.
