Not been round here much for a while but though I may aswell start a project thread.

My latest project is called eeny and here's the plan

Get the shell solid, fit a 2litre 16valve vauxhall lump and rag the tits off it

Not decided on anything else yet, not sure on colour/wheels/arches, i'm just gonna let it evolve and see where it ends up.

I'm gonna have a crack at my own frame, worst case i'll waste a few quid on some box section, done lots of research and got lots of ideas and pics of frames so i'm confident it won't be a problem (but i'm expecting it to be a challenge)

Once finished it'll be my daily driver so the engine will remain pretty much standard for reliability and economy whilst still being able to scare the poo out of me :errr:

Anyway enough waffle, here's the story so far

The mini when it arrived, W reg 1100 clubman with a bit of previous owner syndrome :ermm:

Needs new floors/sills/front/inner arches (front and rear)/boot floor/hinge panel/valence and step sills, the healboard is also shot so will be replaced with a new one.

Next up was to strip the shell took a couple of days on and off

Bare shell minus the front

This is about as far as i've got, first bit for attention is gonna be the front inner wing on the drivers side so i've got something to weld the new floor too, lots to do before it'll be back on wheels and lots of panels to buy.

Gonna be fitting a FG clubman front, the rust doesn't worry me too much, sure there's plenty to do but nothing I can't handle ;)

As for the engine it's gonna be an XE if I can get one for sensible money, Ecotec is always a consideration if the price is right.

The front end looks ducked to me =]
and trust me its probably way much easier with a removable font end
redtops look better in my opinion. you gonna go for carbs or tbs?
try this link for clubman ideas http://www.16vminicl...i...422&start=0

Thanks
