Take Photos of how things go, i didnt and have suffered lol, i still dont think its right, so if anyone has any photos of a hs4 carb with a waxsat jet, can they take a photo of the side with the connections going to the jet. I cant remember how it goes.

LOL! you cant tell anything with that diagram, trying to work out where the spring goes.

The spring goes on the throttle quadrant spindle, the hooked end is closest to the carb body with the hook on a small boss on the body side and the straight end is lodged in begind the part of the quadrant which stops the whole thing returning too far by jamming against the jet push rod. You can see the ends in Ed4ran's photo.

By the looks of it ive done it right, just worried because the spring is bent alot to clip it but its the same on his images, if my camera didnt have flat batteries i would take a photo

Sorry I did mean the choke quadrant above, not throttle!


So long as it pulls the jet back up nicely and doesn't get jammed anywhere it'll be fine.

Ahh good, ill take a photo and remember, can take apart now again and order parts when i can afford, wernt going to try and get it right with my new jet and parts lol.
