Did they ever make a convertible clubman?

You mean Rover or Austin, well it doesn't really matter because there was never a factory fitted convertible, unless you count the moke as convertible?!

there was actually a factory convertible, i know they didn't make many, but they were very posh.

They never made a convertible clubman, only saloons and estates. The roundnose convertibles were late 80's I believe.

The roundnose convertibles were made by Lamme I believe, a styling house under license from Austin or something.

The lamme convertables where diffenrent from the rover ones i think. Somebody got really angry at mini in the park when i said their convertable was lamme, and was thereby subjected to a lecrure about how it was a rover one. :erm:

Yep, the Lamm and Rover convertibles were different - however, both were "official" and sold through dealers. The Lamm was first on the scene, with all the work being done in Germany. Then Rover stepped in and made it themselves.

No Clubman convertibles have ever been officially/factory produced

there were 57 riley elf convertibles made for a heinz competition in the sixties..... don't think there was a clubby convetible
