i like the idea of the rat look my girlfriend told me not to be so lazy and do it so it looks nice but its not her thats outside working in the cold and the rain so the long and short of it is anybody got any photos of a rat look mini? so i can show her?

the 'rat look' only works if your mini goes like smelly stuff off a shovel IMO

you cant make a car look like rat.it happens over time.
leave it out side for years till its all rusty,then you will have a rat look.

Going for rat look is like trying to make your mini somthing its not..

a car is either rat or not, and 9 times out of 10 with minis there not.

Mini's are too classy to be rats...it is definately more a V dub thing...I knew someone who bought a wreck of a Golf Driver and simply painted phrases, doodles etc all over it...looked better than it did!

there was a mini at MITP last year, that was a rat looking mini that looking good

What annoys me, with people saying "I am going Rat" they think it can be "painted".... If you want a Rat car, it happens over time, and it really does look C**p, and do expect rust, and holes!!

One or the other really. The Reason why the VW sence is popular with it, is due to VW using thinker steel, so it doesn't rot quite as bad as Minis....
