Hi All.

I'm now getting really fed up with these dam Tesco lorrys every bloody day!!!!

Posted Image

These should be BANNED! banned I tell you!

on the way to work, they constantly sit at 40mph on a 60mph road.
cannot overtake, or nothing... then they slow down to 30!!!!!!!!!!
cause MASSIVE cue's...

there's only one main road to work, and they allways on it everyday!!!

and each time coming home too!

what makes it worse, is there's lorry's behind getting fed up!
AND OVERTAKE! - so causes massive cue's.
lots of brakeing... and probably will cause accidents soon.

Every single time now... I see them... I honk my Horn!
there the only lorry... that goes slow. (even slower than carivans)

its about 5-10miles before you can overtake it.. because is such a main road.
hardly any overtaking spots. (red staggered lines)

anyway...

WHO IS WITH ME?

(or... is it just me?)

Nope you obviously do not know the highway code do you. I bet he was on a single carraige way with a limit of 60mph, whihc means by law he is not able to go faster than 40mph, 50mph on a dual carraige way and 56mph on a motorway.

Yes they have to slow down, funnily enough they don't handle like minis round corners

Yea I do know how slow there allowed to go.
just like I know lorries are not supose to overtake them!

but...
its the fact that every... single... lorry that causes me being late too work... is....
You guess it! A TESCO LORRY!

no other lorry goes slow.
tesco's are doing 30-40mph at all times!!!!!

you'd feel different if you took my journey to work each day ;)

You, Sir, deserve a beer
For any geeks, it's an old FH12 - meaning 12 litre, straight-6, turbo, 380bhp and easily 1000+ lb/ft of torque.

Speed limit is 40mph on single carriageway roads, but no decent driver's going to try and stick to the limit if he feels it is unsafe to do so (ie: country lanes).

Ever tried handling a 44 tonne tractor-trailor combo, and then emergency braking?

*EDIT - For clarification, I'm not talking out my jacksie - I work for Volvo Trucks.

Na I wouldn't feel any different, as I'm one of the arses causing tail backs and going slow as I'm limited to 50mph on single carriage ways pmsl

I have the upmost respect for 99% of truck drivers, they have to put up with a lot of ******* from car drivers, most of which have no idea how an artic handles

that would explain the reason for your first post ;)

Dont get me wrong, they good at what they do...
but... driving a Mini... or any small car... I wish they wasnt on the road.

They own the road.
and I find alot of bad lorry drivers on the way to work.

just happens to be all the slow ones... are Tesco's!!!

Don't start me on Tesco, I work 'for' them by proxy as the admin/install co-ordinator on their account within my current company. You have NEVER had the misfortune to meet such an arrogant, unpleasant, "up themselves" organisation as these guys. >

That's generally large corporate firms for you...

They probably feel the same way about you too ;)

And they 'own' the road because they need the space. Ever tried driving or even taking a simple corner in one?!

(For ******* and giggles - watch this Aussie triple-trailer combo reverse :) )
