Cant fault your decision to fit a z cars front subby, at least you know it will handle better than a mini version,

good luck with the build

cheers

Wow that Zcars subframe looks impressive, i didn’t know zcars made front subframes for Vauxhall engines!, can I ask what alternator and the ampere of the alternator you are using? im trying to find a small one for my Vauxhall conversion but don’t know which cars have a small alternator.

I want to see some more pics of your conversion looks a good one

Regards

Aaron

Looks like they've used the standard front subframe, but used much wider bottom wishbones (obviously because of mounting problems).

Makes it quite tempting to hack mine to bits and stick a Honda engine in there...

This looks interesting!!! >_<

Can I ask what you've done with the top subframe mounts? I assume the Z-cars frame uses tower bolts type fixings, where I assume your shell (being a 1971 I assume) would have had a twin bolt type subframe (two bolts per side)??? :)
