Haven't you got about 5 years to wait until you can drive?

Wouldn't worry about it for the time being, concentrate on your cycling proficiency.

I don't think there is actually a question on the insurance quotes about general health?!?
I know on the licence application there is questions about eyesight and that..

I've just applyed for a LGV license, and i had to under-go a medical which was a bit strange!!!

did you know that something like 1 in 10 male are colour blind!

Damn thats a bugger im poor at the best of times lol

once you have a job youle get loads, the minimum wage for a 16 year old is 3.80 so ile get about 15 qwid a satday! and once im full time!

once im doing a 40 hour week, ile get....

40 X 3.80= £152 and i dont get taxed till im 18 i think not sure though. and thats the minimum i will get might get more and itle increase as i gain qualifications and all that.

Dont get a full time job, goto college.

Trust me, i decided to goto college over a full time job at 3.80 a hr, 40hrs a week.

A levels ARE THE MOST important exams you'll ever do. The heads of deptartments at our college look at A level grades on their staff CV's before degrees.

GCSE's are nowt, but goverment statistics really. A strong A level grade will get you a good start in life and give you university prospects if you wish later in life.

By this time, you'll be 18 and hold 3-4 A levels, starting on a job around £6/hr or goto university.

I work part time at 4.30 a hour, 15 hours a week. Paid monthly = £258 minimum a month.

I am 18 and looking for a full time job now, as A levels are only weeks away, i will want at least £6 a hour and be working in a job i like not just any old one.

Back on topic...... if the blindness affects your ability to see from either eye, then yes it should be reported to DVLA and insurance companies. Yes....you are more liable to have an accident due to this disability so expect insurance increase.
