Hi, I'm new to this forum, and just thought I'd ask a quick question...

I was a happy owner of a 1994 Cooper for 7 years, but sold it a few years ago in favour of a more reliable Honda Civic. Despite never having any problems with the Civic, and being plagued with little gremlins in the Mini, I'm seriously considering changing back to Mini ownership again.

Now to get to my question: I used to frequent the Rover spares shop near me whenever I needed a front grille or bumper replaced for example, and now that Rover is no more I'm wondering how difficult it's going to be to source little bits and bobs like this when all the Rover garages finally disappear as well...

Can anyone see this being a problem, or is there loads of places that still do Mini bits? Also, since they don't make 'em anymore, are the bits getting more expensive?

no you wont have any problems theres loads of companys who do the parts have a look throuh mini world or mini mag magazines you can get therm at your local newsagents. or try mini spares or a company lke that

You'll have no problems mate! the majority of aftermarket parts are no longer rover branded items and the parts manufacturers are not going out of business just rover!

Have a look in Mini World or Mini Magazine as miniman suggests and you'll see how easy it is to get parts!

Or just stick a wanted on here, as there is a veritable chasm in peoples garages, sheds, loft, dining room, bed room containing bits of mini.. or is this just me ? :fear:

its probaly eaysyer to get stuff now than it was back in the day mate, go and get mini mag or mini world!


(get another mini there much more fun than any foreign car! think of the fun you had on islnds )
