first of all, was just wondering the best way to wire up a set of 4 spot lights on main beam...not too sure.

also, im running an amp, powering 2 speakers obviously straight from batt...there is a really annoying whistling nise all the time when the engine is on..the pitch gets higher with engine speed...even if no music on and head unit off...doesnt happen if i listen t music with the engine off...gues it is the AC power causng it, any ideas how to stop it??? cheers

Spotlamps - you need to make a seperate circuit for them and use a relay, as the current needed for spotlamps will be too much for the wiring used on the main beams, and it will melt! use the main beam circuit as the switch circuit on the relay, and then take the power from a 12v source in the engine bay, using some thicker wire. I did this mysef for the 1st time a few months back - works well.

As for the interferance, it sounds like an eathing problem to me....

whining is because you have interferance i think

route the amp power cables and speaker cables differently, because together you can pick all sorts of noises up.
