2" bore on a 998cc??

just a quick question...is a 2" bore to much for the 998...and i've been told the weight of it will break the mounts..is this true???

weight is not a problem, you just buy stronger mounts when you buy the exhaust - A 2inch system is a little bit of an overkill for a 998 and I doubt you'll get much benefit other than the noise!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO........ Dont put a 2 inch on a 1000 as it kills the performance and occasionaly the odd head gasket. When I started playing with my first car, I fit a 2 inch with a stage 4 12g295 and all the trimmings to go with it. It just made it loud and took away any drivability it could of had. I was sure that there should have been a load more torque & power so I decided to change to a single box RC40.
what a difference it made. I got 15 mph more top speed, it was much nicer to drive round town in and it even sounded better.

haha dont worry its not for me....for a friend as i brought me a playmini carbon jobbie, thought i'd try and save em some dosh and give them my old one.......still anyone want an exhaust.....

i'll let em know..think there going for a stage one kit now

ud need a monstor for a 2" a fairly hot 1430 shoudl just b able to cope
