They nearly seem too cheap, if they are good then you have found a great supplier.

The concern is that most of the stuff is half the price, or less, than most other suppliers and it seems like too much of a difference.

I have not used them though so can't actually be sure, hopefully the stuff they sell is actually good and just a really great price.

I've just took the chance and ordered some bits,
if its a scam or the parts are inferior ive just lost £40,
If not like you say I could have stumbled on to a winner.

I'll keep everyone informed !

The only parts that concern me on that website with reagards to price are the Rubber Cones,... and the Knuckle joints.

replacing just one cone is likely to make your car behave a bit odd so you won't get much of an idea about quality.

Your right and I will be replacing both eventually, but I thought I'd do just one for now in case I have a failure like Calver had on his mrs mini when he bought some cheap cones back in 1996. see this:

You are far more likely to end up crashing if you have replaced only one. The handling could end up being completely unpredictable and with the rate of the rubber cones being very much age dependant the corner weights of the car wil be all over the place. Never change only one spring, or any major suspension component. Always change parts in axle sets.

This Camelot Tech setup seems to just be producing their own rubber parts for Minis. The prices for most of them seem to be very much the same as the prices in many other specialists or auto factors. I agree with Retro about the prices but I would never trust non-genuine knuckle joints anyway. Knowing roughly what steps Mini Spares go through to produce their own special rate springs and how much of the process was neglected to produce the terribly unreliable late model Rover springs, I doubt anyone could do a good job for a retail price lower than what Rover was paying the original manufacturer per unit. The only other price I can see that really stands out is for the front subframe toe board mounting. I don't know anything about the products specifically but I tend to be wary of surprisingly low prices for parts that do actually demand quite precise manufacture.

Do NOT order cones from them, this is the source I have previously warned about of inferior rubber cones. They are excatly the smae as the ones Keith Calver tested, you will literally be taking your life in your hands with these. Whilst they did past a poundage test, with any kind of use they are seriously unpredictable!

I would rarely post in such harsh terms, but these things are DANGEROUS!

like i said,... I had serious reservations regarding the cones... i mean... £15 what the hell! there's a reason other cones are £40-50... and that's because they work!
