Hi all,
I recently picked up my 'new' 1989 mini 30

(after a good clean some of the paint touch up jobs came off so it looks less nice now.. but still I love her )

About myself, born and raised in holland. Moved to Sydney, Australia about 5 years ago and now moved to Reading, Berks, UK.

This will be my first mini so I'll probably have heaps of questions later

Just a quick point, the Birthday 30 was built in 1989 not 1986.

Looks in great condition. I did notice that you havent got a 30 badge on the boot like mine???

Corrected the error.

It looks better in the pics than in the flesh I'm afraid. Especially after its first bath..
I used a high presure hose to clean the bottom to determane the source of the oil leak, and decided to do the body too, but it must have washed off the touch up jobs too

So have to find some touch up paint..

Its got a few dents too, but I'm not too fussy about that..

Yeah the rear decal is missing.. so it the sticker on 1 side..

Funny thing, I could have sworn that I saw another mini 30 just pull out of my offices car park, for a sec I was worried somebody nicked mine..
Luckily it had different plates and mine was still where I left it..
