Just stumbled across this palce thro a link to a thread posted on another forum
Seems a busy place so figured id join up!
Got into minis a few years ago casue i crashed my car and needed another car to get to a party, so bought a mini my we bro had his eye on(he cidnt drive so i bought it with the intention of letting him have it when he could!. At the time i wasnt keen on them but grew to love it
Thanks to minis i taught myself how to weld, fit bodykits, paint and everything mechanical resulting in my current daily driver

aye goes alright tho traction is a big issue. and driving in the rain is just plain skary :sick:
its a constant WIP, since that pics been taken i have changed the wheelarches to Gp7 Euro's and made a start on prepping the bodywork for a respray tho im guna stick with the same colors as i liek them and there a bit of a trademark as everone recognises teh car at events and cruises.

i certainly have, but cant afford it, not by a loooooooong way.
Racelogic's system is aproacing the £600mark for a basic basic kit. Shame there isnt a MegaSquirt'n'Traction controll avaliable
Im dreaming up my own system in my head (just finished my degree, and specialised in electonics and microprocessors in my final year) but its a logn way form even bein put to paper yet

Cheers, yeah been browsing it since it was just the "old" forum on mat's site. and a few months ago took the plunge and started the build all is in the build diary at teh botom of my 1st posthello and welcome to the mini forum
