Hi there everyone,

New to this site, looks really good, im looking for my first mini at the moment, finding it harder than i thought, (maybe im just picky!?)

Im looking for a little lovely, not too expensive, in need of some tlc, as im learning michanics! so want a little baby to tinker with, and always wanted a mini so thought id combine the two!

now ive got the money and started looking, I WANT ONE NOW!!!!

my friend whos helping me says i must be patient to find the right one

Oooooo, I wouldn't use those sort of words round these parts, you'll unleash all kinds of chaos you will!!

Looks like your doing the right kind of thing already though by joining up here! Are you a member of a local Mini Owners club? You can usually find minis for sale through them. Other than that, paroose the online forums as there are always minis on them all round the country.

Yeah - as Jammy said 'surf around' a bit, get the mini magazines (mini world and mini mag) - local papers, the usual stuff. Best bargains are word of mouth, so get yourself joined up to a local mini club if not done so already.

.....and defo watch how you express yourself. Theres some right durty so and so's on here!!!

Your friend is right don't rush into it. You'll just end up regretting if you don't get the one your after.

thanks for your advice, much appricated. trailing through the local papers and free ads, forums etc, no luck yet (im quite impatient!) so gotta be patient with my search!

im trying to find some local mini meets close to me to go and see if there is anyone there who might know of just the one for me, im in Fleet in
Hants, (nr basingstoke, guildfor, reading, im in the middle of these)

any ideas?
