In the radiator, with the car facing you the radiator is to the right. Unscrew the cap on top and put the water in there.

I because you've admitted to being blonde, don't try and do it while the engine is hot

Squeeze the hose to make sure its cool 'n unpressurised :proud:

Not asking & filling the engine with water through the oil filler cap would be really blonde - it was a brunette that actually did it by the way.

I did read a story somewhere once where some blonde is supposed to have asked in a garage for some 710 fluid to put in her car !!

They said 710, she said yes it says on the filler cap.

:proud: read 710 upside down :D

Heya,

I think it would be worth you picking up a Haynes manual. It'll show you what everything is in the engine bay, you'll need to know where to check the brake fluid and oil levels regularly. You should be able to find a really cheap one on ebay :proud:

There's a great story about a woman who called the AA to help when her car wouldn't start after she'd topped up the oil. She'd filled it up. I mean really filled it right up, to the brim with oil. The starter had no chance of turning the engine over, must have cost her a fortune in oil. How many bottles do you have to buy before the guy in Halfords asks what you're up to or what size engine you have?

There must be just as many stories about stupid things guys have done in cars though.

No 1 Windscreen Washer fluid.

No 2 Brake Fluid..there's a mark on the side of the clear plastic bit says MAX, it should be upto that..Use DOT 4 or 5 brake fluid

No 3 Engine Oil top up here. Most people use 20/50 oil Duckhams is good

No 4 Radiator , top up with water but also make sure you have antifreeze in there. When you open the cap you will see a metal wire bit in the water, you fill up till water is just covering it

No 5 Oil Dipstick, use this to check level of oil , two lines near the bottom, oil needs to be showing inbetween the two lines, if its to low, then pour more oil into hole No 3 :proud:
