Hi, my name is brett i am 17 years old
my mini is a 1986, 998cc mayfair i have it now for 11 months (today)
current spec
*outside*
a set of 7*13 superlites
sports pack arches
debumpered
clear lenses
sump guard
*inside*
dash with 3 small(@centre) and 3 large dials
corbeau sport seats @ front
no seats @ rear
custom audio install
all trimed in red carpet
*engine*
998cc
k&n filter
1.3/4 inch lcb single silencer exhaust + twin 3inch dtm back box
high flow inlet manifold
1.1/2inch HS4 carb(to be fitted)
other stuff i cant think of @ the mo

Nah, trust me, once u get used to paying that much....
You'll end up sticking a mahoosive engine in it next year, and when you premium doesn't go down by much you'll just think 'Ahh well, I've been paying that much anyway!!'

2000! thats a bit steep, i'm paying £634 for my 998 with K&N etc and i'm only 18...give Liverpool Victoria a try

Is that £2k on your own or £2k on your parents insurance?

Yeah definately get a quote from liverpoolvictoria - I got quoted £1200 and that way I get to have a no claims bonus hopefully.. :grin: :grin: :grin:

check the mini mags 4 insurance companys, they do deals, if you belong 2 a club, etc, oh and hello by the way
