for the mehanics out there please can you describe to me the operation and role that OASIS system plays in the motor trade/ the dealership

We had one of those at the ford dealership i worked at , A bloke from ford(on an inspection) asked me if i was getting full use of the oasis and i said "oh , I am not allowed to touch that "
My boss had me in the office the next day for a bollocking so i asked "can you show me how to work it then ?"....." Oh , you are not allowed to touch that "
Apparently it gives critical updates on something to do with cars !
I was there 13 years and never found out .
