Ahhh man, I knew there was something else I had to ask you!!!
The new(new!!!) box is fitted and all the drop gears fit as well!!
Funny that(note to self, must check whether the box is A+ or A before I get guessworks to rebuild one for me next time!!)
Thanks for all you help, much appreciated!!
I've nearly finished putting it all together, will finish it off tomorrow.
May even be running?

Well this weekend I haven't just been looking at pics of myself in Mini Mag!!!
Nope I've been busy.
I've finished building and detailing Poos engine and even if I say so myself it looks good!!
I've also given his engine bay a clean up and repaint
Its not perfect but is a shed load better
Look how high the front is!!
The hydro is getting confused!!
I've also fitted a new clutch master cylinder and slave.
The engine is now in the car, I'm just having fun fitting the RC40 and converting him from solid remote to Rod change.
to be honest I got a bit racked off with it today and left it!!
It would probably take 1 or 2 hrs to get running but theres loads of other little jobs I want to do first.
I also need to fit his new brakes, once I've overhauled them.
I'm trying not to rush it, Poos my show transport and I need him to be reliable.
I also need to convert to Alternator as well.
Theres not a huge amount left to do but it needs to be done properly!!
I've had him up on axle stands and OH BOY, i've got some welding coming up next year!!
I can see the frames being dropped and 1/4 floors being fitted.
At the same time I may also fit dry suspension, beam axle and coil overs!!!
heh heh heh

Poo was running a dynamo before, useless at the best of times!!
I need to remove the regulator box, 1st engine bay pic, its the big black box on the inner wing and alter the wiring a little.
Also I happened to have a recon alternator in stock.

Pah, theres gonna be no more pootling!!
Actually although I've built him this new fast engine I still won't drive him any faster!!
My aim with the new engine was to help the motorway cruising speed, at 70 MPH he was screaming his little heart out.
Now he should do 70 with ease and maybe even up a hill!!
I've also got a mini makeover planned for him as well, watch this space!!!
If you see us around be sure to come over and say HI, we love new friends!!!
