Window Winder

Does anyone have any idea what size bolt and thread it is that holds the window winder securely on. have found its been bodged with a screw.

don't hold me to it but im sure they were fixed on with screws from the factory, and if you locktite them in place they dont come off with vibration

Yeah its a cross-head screw that kindof engages a big (inch-ish) plastic hex key into a nut as you tighten the assembly. If thats all there the screw should be sufficient.

the thread is a small imperial machine thread, some come with a big flat washer attached and some dont... the only other one which I can think of which is the same size is the one holding the central console ( or blanking plate ) to the bulkhead
