have a friend who can do cad work and castings so hes going to take some

measurements and see about doing castings to take later gear sets and maybe

jack knight 5/6 speed gear sets in rod boxs will keep everyone up to date

can get some good power from the engines and are pretty reliable

will have it to morrow so will post some phots of it with a ford block on it

and maybe in engine bay

unless anyone has a lotus twin cam engine just lying around they don't want ?

going to see if i can fit a 16v zetec engine to it will see what happens

hmm yeh good point. Crossflows dont exactly give exactly massive power though....but big for an a series!

My dad has a 1700 tuned x-flow in his caterham, puts out 135bhp and runs about 300bhp per tonne, that thing is rapid, will be extremely fun in a mini!

yes please. I want a twin cam!
the xflox in my uncles race car is 160bhp, might be a 1.9 tho. would that still fit, doesn't look like a large engine.

well time to get on with this a selling my other mini so just bought thia a 1700cc

crossflow engine :grin:

now all i need id a straight cut close ratio gearset

willl try to keep post more up todate
