If you don't have the card which came with the car then the only way to get it is from a Rover dealer. ( I think there are still some out there somewhere...)

You could probably get it decoded at a local car audio specialist.

Im bumping this topic a bit, but for a good reason:
I have my mini, a mini radio, and a code.
How do you enter the code?
My code has 7's in it, so that rules out using the numbers on the front.

you usually have to enter each individual number by having to press the first 4 buttons..
So number '1 button, press it 5 times to get the number 5
number '2 button, press is say 2 times to get the second number a 2... and so on!
then the '5 button, to enter the code.
well thats what it is on Fords, and peugeots!!
i might have a radio decoder program for the rovers, i have them for fords and audi/VWs for sure would need to check..

hmm...well that didnt work. I started to press the 1 button and then 4 0's on the screen started to fill up, and when i pressed it the 5th time, a error messege came up...
now its locked.
Does it have a time delay on it untill it unlocks?

to input the code:
switch on and press 1 when you see the C
Then use the up and down tuning button to change the numbers from 0-9.
Afetr each numer press 1 again to move to the next number.
Then press 1 again and you will hear a doule beep and then music!!
Hope this helps.
P.S. Each time you put the code in wrong it will take X mins before you can have another go. And this time goes up each time.

To reset the radio in my dad's Cooper 500, I used P91MER's method.

Guess it depends what radio you have.
Mine is the older style one i reckon. Not sure what model it is though i will have to check when i get a chance.

My radio displays the following
-C-
I assume this is asking for a code, there is also an orange dash move in a 0 shape of the left hand side.
It has occassionally worked, and i am getting a new head unit, its just that i would like at least a bit of radio until i get my new head unti, is that too much too ask?
