Hello to all you Mini loving types.

I thought it polite to say hello before wandering around browsing threads.

As you may be able to tell from my username I am actually a visitor from the Aircooled VW scene and am just trying the water...

My nephew is into his Mini and as I have a comfortable workshop, my home has been volounteered as base for an impending engine replacment. Hence I now have an interest in the small cars. (at least getting them off my garage space and back onto the road. :rolleyes:

)

I have to admit I am getting quite fond of his Mini even if it does take a couple of years to change the engine....

I have been spoilt by the simplicity of the German design- four bolts and your engine is out!

I have a cheap project car!! what sort of project you need? This will need some welding, painting and small bit of mechanical repair.. ITs the one below this post.
