Hey all, found the site with a google search.

Been looking around and seems loads of great info, and some bargains in the for sale section!(forgot how cheap mini bits are  )

I had a mini as a first car, keep it for 2 years and did few bits to it. But its now over 4 years since i sold it :w00t: , Poor thing was tearing itself to pieces.

Have wanted another one ever since but have strayed to the dark side of bigger turbo engines, drive a calibra turbo at the mo. But i now fancy building a track car, still road legal for now to drive to track days, do road rallies etc... with the aim of maybe competing in some competitions in years to come.

So my first questions...

How many of you have track spec minis?
How many use them on the road?
What events do you go to?
Any mini only event?

Cheers,

Adam.

hello adam and welcome to the mini forum

there are members with track minis (i am not one of them)

there are many events for minis now that are mini only, if you happen to be in a newsagents have a look at the back of a mini magazine as there is a list of the events minis do.

Forgot to mention a mate of mine has a mini in his garage, been there for about 4 years doing nothing :w00t: , trying to persuade him to let me have it, because if i want to go racing i better start with a getting a mini! lol
