I've already lit a candle for its poor bonnet, but if the rest follows suit, I will have to lead a mass vigil through the streets of my town.

DONT WORRY! The rest of my car isn't going that way just yet! And my bonnet is a spare one i had my nice black one is still with us.

I’m only playing around with different looks. And the fact that no one rats a mini???? Just wanted to see what kind of reaction it would get

mine got labeled a rat.. not because of the writing, but the the fact i have fixed everything with whatever i could get hold of..
Theres a spoon wedged in the dash right now to hold it in

Ratting a mini that is already in a bit of a state is all well & good & I would kind of go for that. Ratting a mini that already looks like yours is absolutely criminal.

Loving the "rat look" / "hood ride" thing.That's definately the direction I'm going too. Been into minis for donkey's but love the whole retro ride type thing, never really lusted after a shiny car. i have come to a problem tonight with the rusty bonnet i love having on my car but when it rains its going to run down the rest of my paint so i thought i could lacquer it but the lacquer made the rust go funny. and now it dont look so cool

how do the ratters keep that look without this happening? please HELP!
