what have i done to the mini so far.

the panels which have been replaced are the inner and outer sills, floor pans and steps for the doors on both sides. i have done a few repairs both inside at the joints near the rear subframe and underneath. the rear half of the boot and the rear subrame mountings in the boot have all been replaced, the rear section under the bumper had to be removed and refitted with the supports being remade to fit. fun was had doing that  .
i have also had to do some repairs in the engine bay, the front left wing needed to be repaired, and inside the drivers and pass dash at the air vents.
the rear subframe is 2nd hand (no suprise there hey) and all the susspention and hubs have all been stripped down and sprayed gold. the braking sysytem has been renewed, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums, pipes, and new wheel bearings fitted all round.
i picked up a set of alloys from my friendly scrappy, and after no joy anywhere getting the correct wheel nuts, i had to have a set modified by a local manufacturer. no lathe otherwise i would have done it my self. my moto is (why get someone to do what you can do yourself)
the engine has been stripped down and all parts painted gold, the block and head were painted with a high temp red paint, (next time i need to do this i will get a tin instead of can as it didn't take to some points of the head and block as others.trile and error again
the interior is standard so far i have got a new carpet and underlay, its black with red trim, and i want to get the seat done a simalar colour.
the ICE is a standard pioneer cd changer, with 2 speakers going on the rear shelf, 2 speakers out of my old 820 which are going into the rear sections to the side of the rear seats, need to make brackets for them yet. and i have a nice large speaker, which i dont know yet where it will fit.
the roof will have a welsh flag on it, and a small canadian flag will be on the bonnet.
do need some help not sure weather to put chrome or black bumpers on her yet, i do have black ones at the moment, which need a respray so might use them and go from there.
hope you like the pictures i will add more as i do it. :wales:
