Get yourself a kit car, they are cheap as chips to insure, i phoned up asking them how much as it would be a new policy as it will be my second car, so no NCB or anything like that they only wanted £312 a year fully comp, etc... :D



Do you mean if I registered my Mini as a kit car? on a Q plate?

im selling the mini but i want either a 1.4 quiksilver or a 106 1.5d for the quiksilver its £959 and for the 1.5d its £845 thants on my mums as a named driver. :D

:EDIT: thats with quinn-direct there realy good all my mates are with them and as sum1 said before you get free breakdown

You can't have a direct debit as your not 18 yet.

Try going for something that is a lower litre. Also, Renault 5's are known for being hot hatches so your better off looking at something else. Your going to have to accept that its going to be expensive.

Try going for something that is a lower litre. Also, Renault 5's are known for being hot hatches so your better off looking at something else. Your going to have to accept that its going to be expensive.

i did mine on direct debit at 17 with quinn direct!

yep, well, my name on the card, but my account is: my mum RE: me

but the card has my name on and everything, they didnt say anything to me about being 17 and paying it monthly though

Thats because the account is in your mums name till your 18 so technically shes in charge of the account, thats probably why they allowed it.

You can't enter into a legally binding contract until you are an adult ie 18. The same reason you can't get a loan, overdraft, mobile contract, finance etc.
